Avanti Restaurant Solutions celebrated it’s 15 year anniversary in November by supporting charities during its “15 days of giving” event. Gathering input from Avanti’s employees of which causes were near and dear to their hearts, the company was able to contribute nearly $60,000 and 200 hours of volunteer time to a host of charities that ranged from fighting childhood obesity, to the arts and education, to supporting our country’s veterans.
The month-long event culminated in a Fall Fest celebration hosted by Avanti for its customers and vendors. At the event, CEO Mark Rossi announced Avanti will support Serving Kids Hope, an organization that fights childhood obesity headed up by Dr. Patricia Riba. Citing an impressive statistic during the event, Dr. Riba stated the organization has worked with over 1,000 students and their families with a 90% success rate of fighting childhood obesity.
“The Fall Fest was a huge success… It was a pleasure to help so many people in so many different ways”, said Rossi. “From running a social media campaign to volunteering time, to contributing both monetary donations and restaurant equipment, our team nailed it! We are grateful for our loyal customers, employees, and vendor partners whose relationships have allowed Avanti to continue to grow as a company and make a positive impact on society.”
